House Rules
We’re committed to making sure you have a fantastic time and that your safety is a top priority. Whether you’re here to shop, play, or eat, we want all our visitors to feel happy and comfortable. With that in mind, here are some of Golden Squares’ House Rules.
- We wouldn’t come to your house and misbehave, so please don’t in ours! Any intimidating behaviour towards visitors, staff, or retailers is unacceptable and will be dealt with by the Police.
- Please always supervise children in your care (top tip – we have a playground most of the year round for the little ones near TJ Hughes).
Although we love all animals (do spiders count as animals?), unfortunately they are not permitted in the mall unless they are assistance dogs. - Shopping trollies are not allowed on the mall; they have minds of their own.
- Do not drop any litter; we have got loads of bins so please use them.
- Despite us wanting all businesses in Warrington to do well, leafleting and canvassing requires prior permission.
- Selling goods without approval is prohibited, if it’s that good we would have you in selling it already!
- Busking is not permitted unless we think you’re any good and it’s been approved by Centre Management
- Climbing walls like Spiderman or sitting on our escalator balustrades, fences, or railings is not allowed.
- Ball Games are not allowed, regardless of how confident you are in your skills, you’re not Ronaldo.
- Bikes, Skates, Scooters, and similar wheeled items are not permitted.
- No swearing, shouting or any kind of rude or insulting language please. What would your parents say!
- Our lifts are sensitive like us; please don’t use them inappropriately.
- Commercial filming or photography requires prior approval from us, we need time for make-up!
- Drones are not permitted, including on our carparks; we have a no-fly zone around our shopping centre.
- Try not to run in our mall, despite how fabulous and exciting our sales are.
- No Topless sunbathing please! Clothing and footwear must always be worn, except while trying on in the changing rooms, obviously!
- Crash helmets should be removed upon entering the centre, even if you haven’t done your hair.
- There is a strict no-smoking policy, which includes electronic cigarettes, and alcohol is only to be consumed in a licensed premise. This is for your own health as well as ours.
