Please note these extended opening hours are for Superbowl UK and our bars and restaurants – all other retailers will close earlier, please check each store ahead of your visit to avoid any disappointment.

The safety of our customers, colleagues and retailers is our number one priority and we continue to follow the Government’s public health guidance closely.

From July 19, the majority of Covid restrictions ended and government guidance emphasises on personal responsibility. Therefore at Golden Square we ask that the wearing of face masks in enclosed areas continues and keeping 2 meters apart is still encouraged.

We are continuing to disinfect the areas used by customers to minimise the spread of coronavirus. Our outside seating area will continue to be sanitised throughout the day and disinfectant wipes are still available for use.

The multi-storey car park and toilets remain open. Please note that individual store opening hours may vary. We recommend checking with each store ahead of your visit to avoid any disappointment.

We have a Public Health lateral flow test centre on Sankey Street and we recommend that customers take a test before attending any events in the square.

Guest Services

Toilets

Our toilets are located in the Blue Zone Welcome Hall which can be accessed via escalators, lifts or stairs. Here you will also find our baby changing, family rooms and disabled toilets.

Customer Defibrillators

They are located by the Blue Zone lifts near Costa and between Shiptons and the Red Zone Lifts. They are secured by a pin in case of an emergency, the user should dial 112 or 999 and give out the location code on the box to be given the pin code access to the Defib. The user will then be given instructions/medical/ambulance support.

Quiet Space

Located in the Welcome Hall. This comfortable, relaxing area is designed for taking a few quiet moments during your visit to Golden Square.

Shopmobility

Shopmobility Warrington is a service run by a local registered charity ‘Warrington Disability Partnership’ it provides motorised scooters and manual wheelchairs to anyone of any age with a permanent or temporary mobility problem.

Assistance Dogs

Assistance dogs and their owners are welcome at Golden Square. Please can we ask that the dogs wear an easily recognisable harness or jacket so we can identify that they are indeed an assistance dog.

Baby Changing

Our family rooms, baby change and feeding room are located in the Blue Zone welcome hall. We have bottle warming facilities at the customer service desk

GS GIFT CARDS

Whatever the occasion, Golden Square Gift Cards are the perfect gift for friends and family. They can be purchased in any denomination from £5 – £250 at the Customer Service Desk near Starbucks. Please note that in order to purchase your gift card, we are only accepting card payments.

Gift cards are pre-paid stored value cards which can be used to purchase goods or services at participating retailers within Golden Square.

Collect+

COLLECT+

With 100 stores and 1000s of brands, Golden Square already gives you so much choice. And now, when you shop online at stores including House of Fraser, ASOS, John Lewis, Mango and The White Company, you can collect your orders at Golden Square with our Collect+ service.

Simply follow the steps below.

1. Buy online from over 90 retailers and choose Collect+ as your delivery option. For the full list look here.

2. You’ll be emailed a collection barcode when your items arrive at our Customer Information Desk.

3. Take your code to our Customer Information Desk located near Starbucks along with your ID to collect your parcel. If collecting on behalf of someone else, please bring their form of ID in order to make collection.

RETURN A PARCEL

It’s easy to return a parcel to over 350 retailers, just follow these simple steps:

1. Stick your label onto your parcel. If it is missing, download a new label from here.

2. Drop your parcel off at our Customer Information Desk. For extra ease download the FREE CollectPlus app which will track your parcel automatically.

3. Track your parcel online to its destination and await your refund.

PARKING

We have over 1,700 parking spaces between the 3 level multi-storey car park accessed via Midland Way, or the underground car park accessed via Legh Street.

Monday – Saturday 6am until Midnight
Sunday – 9am until Midnight

Red Zone – Parking for Starbucks, Primark, Customer Service Desk, Old Market Place plus many other stores.

Blue Zone – Parking for Debenhams, TK Maxx, Topshop, New Look, H&M, Costa plus many other stores.

Parking is free after 6pm every evening!

We are open until 8pm every Thursday with free parking after 4pm.

FAQ’s

Bank Holiday Parking – Normal car park tariff charges apply.

Paying for your parking – You can make contactless, chip & pin or cash payments for parking. Please note that the ticket machines on Red Zone level 2, and Blue Zone level 3 take card payments only.

Please look after your parking ticket, because if you lose it you will be charged the full day rate of £5.50.

Blue Badge Holders – Disabled parking bays are available on every level of our car park. On your first visit please take your blue badge to the Customer Information Desk near Starbucks for your details to be registered. For future visits just scan your Blue Badge at the barrier when leaving the carpark.

Family Parking – If you’re bringing the kids, our car park is equipped with family parking bays to help take some stress out of your journey!

Motorbikes – Motorbikes are welcome to park at Golden Square. The car park tariff does not apply

Please note that the users of this car park do so at their own risk. The management will not accept liability for any accidents, damage or loss incurred.

In the event that you loose your carpark ticket please press the Information button on the car park machines and a member of the team will be happy to help.

Do your machines accept all forms of payment?
You can make contactless, chip and pin or cash payments for parking. Please note that the machine on Red Zone Level 2 and Blue Zone Level 3 take card payment only.

What do I do if I lose my ticket?
Press the information button at the play station which will direct you to a member of the customer care team, explain you have lost your ticket. They will ask for your car registration and send the payment to the machine so payment can be made.

Blue Badge holders

What do I need to do with my blue badge for free parking?
Every level of our car park have designated bays for blue badge holders. If it is your first visit or if you haven’t registered your blue badge with us previously, please take your Blue badge to our Customer Care Team (you do not need to leave the badge on display during your visit) we can then register your details on our system, if you like you can phone ahead with these details. Then for future visits you just need to scan the bar code on your blue badge when exiting at one of our exit barriers.

General

Is the centre open for late night shopping?
We absolutely do! Thursdays stores are open until 8pm with FREE parking after 4pm. However, due to changes with staffing as a result of the current pandemic, some stores are temporarily not participating in late nights, so its best to check with those individual stores before your visit.

Where can I purchase a GS gift card?
You can purchase a GS gift card from our Customer Care Team who are located next to Starbucks

When will my gift card expire?
Gift cards expire 12 months after purchase.
