Golden Square Pride Carnival 2025

As part of Warrington Pride 2025, Golden Square will be at the heart of the action all day on Saturday, 14th June 2025. Hosting a Pride Carnival featuring live music, showcases, family-friendly workshops, stalls and activities. Supported by Community Partners, WeAreWarrington, Culture Warrington, Warrington Youth Zone, TAGS, and United Utilities.

Here’s a look at the incredible lineup of FREE events:

Pride Parade (12.00pm – 12.30pm)

Nothing says Pride like a fabulous parade! Watch as a colourful procession winds through the streets, led by Warrington BID. Expect dazzling costumes, joyful energy, and a whole lot of pride. Whether you’re cheering from the sidelines or walking in the parade, this is a must-see! The parade will start at Times Square, Warrington.

Big Fatt Dance Party (12.30pm – 1pm)

When the clock strikes 12.30pm, Old Market Square will come alive with the electrifying Big Fatt Dance Party.

Get ready to move your feet as Fatt Butcher, Blu Romantic, and Alanna Boden take the stage to deliver an unforgettable burst of unapologetic queer joy. Their performances aren’t just music and dance – they’re bold, saturated celebrations of individuality and community.

Showcase from TAGS & Warrington Youth Zone (1.00pm – 4:30pm)

Proudly presenting A Place Where We Belong – a powerful
showcase of dance, acting, and singing performances by their talented service users, celebrating what it means to be from Warrington (1.00pm and 3.10pm).

Plus live music and performances from Becca (1:15pm), Youth Takeover (1.30pm – 2.15pm), Red Jaspers (2.30pm), BOXDYE (4.00pm), Emmett & Band (3:30pm) and more!

Silent Disco (1.00pm – 5.00pm)

TAGS is bringing you the ultimate Silent Disco experience. Slip on your headphones, tune in to your favourite tracks, and hit the square surrounded by an electric atmosphere. With music, moves, and an unbeatable vibe, this is your chance to dance, laugh, and create memories. Don’t wait – the party’s ready, and all we need is you!

Drew’s Dirty Disco (5.00pm – 7.00pm)

The final act on the Old Market Square stage is Drew. Drew’s Dirty Disco is a two-hour set of disco, camp, and queer-themed music. The playlist promises a seamless mix of old-school disco classics and modern hits, all masterfully remixed into disco tunes.

After Party (7.00pm til late)

The after-party continues at Disco Bowl with an evening DJ set.

Creative Workshops for All Ages

Feeling crafty? Head to outside Costa Coffee from 1.00pm to 4.00pm. Try your hand at circus skills and crafts with the help of the Warrington Youth Zone team. It’s a great way to connect, learn something new, and celebrate creativity together.

Krafty Faces & Family Fun

From 11.00am to 4.00pm, Krafty Foxx Face Painting will be adding a splash of fun with vibrant designs.

Whether you’re young or young at heart, don’t miss the chance to transform your face with rainbows, glitter, or any design you fancy.

🎪 Pride Stalls and Activities

Golden Square Pride isn’t just about entertainment; it’s also a chance to meet local charities and organisations making a difference.

Torus Foundation: Test your skills with a bean bag toss, pick a prize in the Lucky Dip, or leave your message of inclusion on their Diversity Tree. Free balloons for children!

Trans Without Abuse: Share your stories or support others by leaving inspirational notes on the “What Pride Means to Me” wall or the “Coming Out Stories Tree”.
NHS Talking Therapies: Take their True/False quiz and learn more about mental health myths!
