Golden Square Comic Con is landing for a full day of heroes, villains, wizards, warriors, dinosaurs, movie cars, cosplay and photo-worthy moments across the centre.
Step through the Mario Warp Tunnel, take your place on the Game of Thrones Throne, visit Olivanders Wand Shop, make your way to Platform 9 ¾, try your hand at Quidditch and step into the wonderfully weird world of Wednesday. From magical moments to gaming nostalgia, this is your chance to jump straight into the stories you love.
Keep your eyes peeled as characters and cosplayers make their way through Golden Square, with Bumblebee and Arcee confirmed to join the action, plus appearances from Ross Mullen and James McKenzie, filming schedule permitting. More characters will be revealed as the countdown continues.
And that’s not all. The Jurassic Park Jeep will be rolling in alongside Mike the driver and his dinosaurs, while The King will also be making an appearance. Herbie is hoping to join the line-up too, with confirmation to follow.
So grab your camera, charge your phone and get ready for a day where Golden Square turns into a pop culture playground.

Cosplay Competition at 4pm
Think your costume deserves the spotlight? The cosplay competition will take place towards the end of the day, hosted by pro cosplayer Sami, with categories for children under 8, teenagers and adults. Capes, masks, robes, armour and full character transformations are very much encouraged.

Every contestant gets their own runway moment with music, cheers, and cameras at the ready. No pressure, just a stage, an audience, and your chance to be the main character for five glorious minutes.
Special guest judges James McKenzie and Ross Mullen will be helping crown the winners! We’ve got trophies for 1st place and amazing runner-up goodies kindly donated by @discobowlwarrington 🎉
📝 How to enter: Just sign up at the cosplay table in Old Market Square on the day from 10:30am till around 2pm.
