This January, we’re turning Golden Square into Community Square.
January can feel like the longest month of the year. It’s cold, it’s dark, finances can feel tight, and motivation can dip. That’s why, every year, we make January the month we give back, using our space to spotlight the people and groups doing good across Warrington and beyond.
Throughout the month, we’ll be opening up Golden Square to community groups who support a healthier mind and offer practical solutions to common January challenges, helping more people find the support, connection, and communities they need.
Showcase Day: Saturday 24th January
Our big Community Square moment is Showcase Day, a lively drop-in event with a bit of a Comic Con meets Makers Collective feel. Community groups will be set up around the centre, ready to chat, share what they do, and show shoppers simple ways to get involved, whether you’re looking for support, a new hobby, a cause to back, or a place to meet new people.
