Competition T&C’s

Eligibility

Competitions are open to residents of the UK, aged 16 and above. Employees of Golden Square, its affiliates, or anyone else professionally connected with the competition are not eligible to enter.

How to Claim

• Winners will be notified via email or direct message on the platform they entered (i.e. Facebook or Instagram).
• Physical prizes will either be mailed to the winners or can be collected where applicable.
• For digital vouchers or prizes, winners will receive instructions via email or direct message on redeeming their prize.
• If a prize is not claimed within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner or forfeit the prize.

Data Protection

By entering a competition, you grant us permission to use your submitted content (images) across our social media channels, website, and other promotional materials. All content shared must be original and not infringe on any third-party rights. Entrants are automatically consenting to receiving marketing communications from the Promoter via email. Entrants can opt out of this anytime by clicking unsubscribe on an email if they do not wish to receive any marketing communications. Entrants’ data will (regardless of whether they opt-out) always be used to process their entry.

Intellectual Property & Consent

Entrants will not be put through to speak if we think they are driving illegally, intoxicated, likely to swear, or otherwise offend our audience.

If we’re live on social media, entrants must not use foul language, swear, say or do anything defamatory or illegal or say or do anything which would damage the reputation of the Golden Square, is offensive or inappropriate, or which would cause us, or our listeners, harm. Failure to comply will result in disqualification, and if the entrant has won the prize, this will be forfeited.

It is a condition of entry to all our Competitions that we have the right to publish and/or broadcast the first name, hometown, character, likeness and voices of Competition entrants and winners.

For clarity, we may also record and store audio recordings of entrants off-air which may be broadcast on-air at a later time at our sole discretion.

We will only accept entries that comply with our terms and conditions, and we may disqualify the entrant if we know or suspect that they have breached them. All our decisions relating to the Competition and/or awarding of prizes are final. No discussions or correspondence with entrants or any other person will be entered into about the operation of this Competition. We have the right to cancel, amend, terminate, or suspend this Competition if forced to do so due to circumstances outside our control.

We reserve the right to take the Competition off the air for bank holidays or at other times when programming output requires it.

Golden Square decision in respect of all matters to do with the promotion will be final.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
