GS Drag Superstar is coming to Golden Square as part of Drew’s Dirty Disco presents GS Pride 2026.
This brand new competition has been created to celebrate local drag talent, showcase LGBTQ+ artistry and bring even more energy to this year’s Pride celebrations in the heart of Warrington.
We’re inviting drag artists aged 16 and over to apply for the chance to perform live at GS Pride on Saturday 13th June 2026, with finalists taking to the stage as part of the day’s entertainment line-up.
To enter, performers must submit a 90-second vertical audition video answering the question: Why do you think you could be Golden Square’s Drag Superstar?
Videos should be:
- Family-friendly
- Submitted in MP4 format where possible
- Clear in sound and presentation
Key dates:
Submission deadline: 15th May 2026
Finalists announced: 20th May 2026
Live final: Saturday 13th June 2026 at GS Pride
Entrants must be available on Saturday 13th June 2026 between 12pm and 7pm.
The winner will be crowned GS Drag Superstar, receive the GS Drag Queen Crown, and secure a 30-minute performance slot at next year’s GS Pride event.
Please note that audition videos may be shown publicly during GS Pride 2026, and entrants grant permission for their video and live performance to be used in event promotion and digital and social media content.
